* Dee Lincoln Prime — my pick for a dressy Frisco date night. Steak, seafood, sushi, Wagyu, great cocktails, and it’s right at The Star.
* The Star District — even if you don’t eat at Dee Lincoln, this is one of the easiest places to make a whole evening: dinner → drinks → walk around the Cowboys complex.
* Legacy Hall at Legacy West — Lively upscale food hall with tons of different food options, cocktails, live music, and a great outdoor patio. Perfect for families or groups when everyone wants something different.
*Hard Eight BBQ — A true taste of Texas! Hard Eight BBQ serves authentic Texas barbecue straight from the pit in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
* Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill — A casual, upscale seafood spot and fresh fish market known for high-quality, flown-in seafood. Great for fresh fish, oysters, lobster rolls, fish & chips, and daily specials. A perfect choice when you want excellent seafood without a super-formal atmosphere.
* The Common Table Frisco — Lively gastropub at The Star with elevated American food, craft cocktails, and a fun hip-hop brunch. Great for brunch, drinks, or a casual date night.
* Yao Fuzi Cuisine — Our favorite Chinese restaurant! Located in West Plano with a cozy, date-night atmosphere, known for Shanghai-inspired dishes, soup dumplings, crispy beef, seafood, and great cocktails and wine.
* Bob’s Steak & Chop House — An upscale, classic Texas steakhouse at The Shops at Legacy, known for USDA Prime steaks, excellent service, and its signature glazed carrot. Great for date nights and special occasions.
* PGA Frisco / Omni PGA — another one I’d prioritize. Go around sunset, have dinner/drinks, walk the district and play the putting course. The PGA District has The Dance Floor putting course, The Swing par-3 course, restaurants, shops and entertainment.
* If you’re willing to go just outside Frisco to Grandscape: Quartino Ristorante is fun for Italian + wine, while Tande Craft Kitchen & Cocktails is a more interesting Thai/cocktail date-night option.
* Andretti Indoor Karting & Games The Colony — Huge indoor entertainment center at Grandscape with high-speed go-karts, arcade games, laser tag, VR and bowling. Great for kids, teens, and adults, especially for a family activity
* Windmills Craftworks [Grandscape] — I’d choose this more for the live music/jazz + dinner experience than purely for the food.
* Universal Kids Resort — Biggest must-do for younger kids. Frisco’s new Universal theme park designed specifically for families with young children, with themed lands featuring Shrek, Minions, SpongeBob, Trolls and more. It opened July 1, 2026.
* KidZania — Immersive kid-sized city where children can role-play 100+ jobs like firefighter, pilot, veterinarian and doctor. Great interactive/educational activity.
* Monarch Restaurant — romantic / glamorous. It’s on the 49th floor, so you get huge Dallas skyline views with upscale Italian, steaks and seafood. Great special-occasion choice.
* Terilli’s Restaurant — A longtime Lower Greenville favorite serving Italian-American classics in a lively, romantic setting with live music and a rooftop patio. Known for its signature Italchos, pasta and cocktails.
* Javier’s Gourmet Mexicano — An iconic, upscale Dallas restaurant serving Mexico City–style cuisine in a dark, old-school atmosphere. Known for steaks, seafood, strong cocktails and its cigar lounge.
* Dakota’s Steakhouse — one of the coolest atmospheres. You take an elevator underground into the restaurant, and there’s a gorgeous courtyard/waterfall. Very old-school romantic Dallas.
* Tango Room — intimate, dark, sexy, old-world steakhouse. If you like moody/elegant interiors, I’d put this high on your list.
* Stillwell’s — gorgeous steakhouse inside Hôtel Swexan. More sophisticated and understated than some of Dallas’s louder steakhouses.
* Uchi Dallas — one of my picks if you want really good sushi/Japanese rather than just a beautiful room.
* Gemma — cozy, intimate neighborhood bistro. Less flashy and more charming.
* Sushi by Scratch Restaurants: Dallas — tiny, speakeasy-style omakase inside The Adolphus; more of an experience than a regular dinner.
* Jack & Harry’s — An upscale, New Orleans-inspired chophouse in Snider Plaza with a warm, old-school Southern atmosphere. Known for prime steaks, fresh seafood, gumbo, oysters and martinis. Great for a romantic date night or cocktails.
* The Dallas World Aquarium — Indoor rainforest, aquarium and zoo experience with sharks, penguins, sloths, monkeys and exotic birds. One of the best Dallas activities for kids.
* Perot Museum of Nature and Science — Interactive science museum with dinosaurs, gems, hands-on exhibits and an earthquake simulator. Great for kids of all ages.
* Dallas Zoo — Huge zoo with giraffe feeding, safari-style exhibits, a children’s zoo and plenty of activities for a half or full day.
Prestonwood Baptist Church holds a special place in Teresa and Joshua’s hearts. It was Teresa’s childhood church, where she grew up in her faith, and is now the church she and Joshua attend together.
